The 5 minute guide to getting your first survey out!

We recommend testing OtterSense with a small group of people (e.g. your HR team) to start so that you can get acquainted with how OtterSense works.

  1. Create an account at
  2. Start by adding People in your organization to OtterSense.
  3. Group people into Groups - these are usually different teams within an organization (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering). Ensure that groups are sufficiently large for anonymity (we recommend a minimum of three people in a group)
  4. The Surveys section allows you to select which group to send a survey to.
  5. Users will receive an email with a survey link.
  6. Once results are in, you will be able to see survey results on the Dashboard
